Armlet (jingiri)

It consists of aluminium crescent-shaped bells (tulamba) suspended from a copper chain (munyo). The Kamba learnt the art of metal working from the Giriama, who live close to the coast.

Purchased by Sheila Unwin for 5/- in the 1970s
