Camphorated oil
Camphorated oil has anti-inflammatory properties and was often used in vapour rubs and balms. In the past it was commonly used as a steam inhalation to relieve chest congestion. However it is highly toxic when consumed, and has largely fallen out of disuse, due to concern over accidental poisonings.
