West Gate Mural; Preliminary Model
This large mural was painted over a period of 6 months, in 1979, by Andrew Stacey to celebrate the Westgate Festival. The main theme is based on several contemporary Exeter festivals and depicts local characters and groups such as the Western Morris Men and Footsbarn Theatre.
