Green glazed French jug

One of three green glazed French jugs found during excavations at Smythen Street/Market Street in Exeter.
The Exeter: a Place in Time (EAPIT) project has recently carried out research on medieval French pottery from Exeter. Medieval Exeter and France were important trading partners with wine and high quality pottery coming in to Exeter and woollen cloth going the other way.
