Club
Solomon Islands tapering paddle club, mid-19th century.
Nggela Islands (formerly Florida Islands) tapering paddle clubs show close similarities to the geographically separate pakipaki clubs of Tonga. They are carved with a thin logitudinal ridge down the upper part of the blade but are otherwise plain. The clubs were traded widely and some have been collected elsewhere.
