Moccasin

One of a pair of contemporary buckskin moccasins decorated with multicoloured glass beadwork in the shape of a flower. Beaded row also protects the seam. Short deerskin fringe at the back of the heel.

One of several items belonging to a regalia made in the 1990s by Blackfoot ceremonial elder Herman Yellow Old Woman. It was presented to RAMM in 2022 in thanks for the return of Chief Crowfoot’s regalia to the Blackfoot (Siksika).
