Olivine Monozonite
Kentallenite was named for the locality of Kentallen Quarry, Ballachulish in Scotland. It is a local name for a melanocratic variety of monzonite composed of olivine, augite, zoned plagioclase, biotite and green micas and interstitial alkali feldspar.
