Jug
William Fishley Holland (1889-1969) came from an important dynasty of North Devon potters. He had taken on the family pottery in Fremington in 1912 and worked in Braunton in 1914 before moving to Somerset in 1921 to take on the Sunflower pottery at Clevedon Court after Sir Edmund Elton died in 1920. William remained in Clevedon until 1930.
Like the Fishley forerunners, William Fishley Holland worked in earthenware.
