White-winged swallow

The white-winged swallow is a familiar sight over the rivers of much of South America, east of the Andes. It is often found in pairs or small flocks, perched on branches or snags in rivers and lakes. This specimen came from Guyana and was donated by Mr W.P.Lowe.
