Magic Lantern Slide: Canterbury

This slide by William Weaver Baker shows a view of Canterbury Cathedral from Butchery Lane in 1939. To the left of the image a man can be seen walking down the pavement. This is an important record of the buildings on the right hand side of the road as they were bombed during the Second World War in 1942.
