Magic Lantern Slide: Beverley Misericord - Swine
This photographic slide by William Weaver Baker shows a misericord at Beverley Minister depicting a pig playing the bagpipes for her piglets. There is further musical accompaniment on the right support with a pig playing the harp, and on the left is a saddled pig. The misericords at Beverley Minster are believed to have been carved by the Ripon School of Carvers in 1520.
