Tray
Made of eucalyptus wood with a curved cradle-like shape, this Pitjantjatjara winnowing dish (piti) was used as a receptacle for gathering food, carrying water or winnowing seeds. It has been repaired in two places with a spinifex resin. Presented by the West Australian Museum at Perth, 1912.
