This Iznic-style vase was probably made at the end of the nineteenth century The style follows the colours, shapes and patterns made famous around the town of Iznik in present-day Turkey. The potters who made Iznik ceramics had been influenced by the shapes and decorative schemes of Chinese blue and white porcelain.
