Slipper
It is believed that these shoes or slippers belonged to Princess Charlotte Augusta of Wales. She was the only child of the Prince of Wales (the future George IV) and Caroline of Brunswick. She was born in 1796 and married Prince Leopold of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld in 1816. She died in 1817 as a result of childbirth.
