Rook

Clutch of 4 bird eggs collected on April 4th 1948. Record card reads: ‘Nest built in large colony, about 65 pairs, in tall beach tree. (25 nests in this tree). Nest itself built of sticks and lined with hair, grass, yellow straw and willow stems. These eggs are of the light blue variety.’
