Pistol
A pistol belonging to one of the Exeter Javelin Men. The Javelin Men supported the High Sheriff of Devon when they came to Exeter to meet the Assize Judges. This pistol was probably in use at the time of Captain John Cooke, who led the Javelin Men in the 1780s.
