Votive figure
This votive figure of a fish is thought to be Greek, made from dark terracotta. It has two inscriptions, the one around its mouth seems to be ARHXEOV which may mean ancient.
It belonged to Lieutenant Colonel Montague who collected over 800 classical archaeological objects, which he bequeathed to the museum on his death.
