Oil lamp
This lamp was described by its collector as ‘Ptolemaic of 2nd. century B.C. Pseudo-delphiniform, with a lateral fin doubled back, nozzle slightly spreading, 2.7 in by 2 in. found in EGYPT. (Lawrence Coll.). It was collected by Lieutenant Colonel Montague whose collection of over 800 classical archaeological objects is an important resource in the museum collections.
