Long eared bat

Edward (1883-1957) and Charles (1883-1908) Detmold were twin brothers. Both were keen watercolourists and mastered the technique of colour printing with copper plates. They illustrated many books, often on natural history. The V&A has a catalogue record for a similar work dated 1897 (no image is currently included). https://collections.vam.ac.uk/item/O752607/long-eared-bat-print-detmold/
