Casting jet fragment

This fragment (shown on the left of the photograph) is one of three Middle Bronze Age items found together by a metal-detectorist and declared as Treasure. The group consists of a palstave axehead broken into two pieces, and this piece of waste from the casting process. They form important evidence for the manufacture of Bronze Age weapons in Devon.
