Sovereign case

Sovereign holders were designed to hold coins called sovereigns. They often look like pocket watch cases and were designed in a similar way. They could be attached to a chain and worn inside the pocket. A sovereign was a coin made of 22 carat gold and it had a nominal value of one pound sterling.
