Ceramic jar
George Fishley established a pottery at Fremington, North Devon in 1811 which was productive for three generations. The output from the Fishley pottery was varied, ranging from plain ware such this container, to highly decorated items. It is thought that this storage jar may have been made by Fishley’s grandson, Edwin Beer Fishley.
