Kagu
Herbert Whitley presented this male Kagu to the University College of the South West in 1940. It is one of four birds now at RAMM. They were part of a breeding programme at Primely (now Paignton) Zoo. The Magazine of Aviculture reports that Whitley managed to hatch a chick, but little else is recorded.
