Club

Paddle club with leaf shaped blade and predominantly straight shaft. These clubs represent a transformation from the long bladed ceremonial paddle of the Northern Solomons into a more practical weapon. They would not work as paddles due to their weight and inability to float in water. Found in Nggela and Guadalcanal, but clearly made in Nggela.
