Whiddon Park on the Teign

Whiddon Park is situated at the top end of the River Teign Gorge, near Drewsteignton. The deep gorge is visible beyond, leading down to Fingle Bridge. The artist seems to have been based in Plymouth as his signature often includes the name of that city. He exhibited at the Royal Academy and the British Institute.
