Jug

This jar or aryballos has a ring base and a handle stretching from the body to the top of the round flattened rim. Its surface is weathered but it retains the brown decorative horizontal lines round the body. It is one of many objects found in “tombs in the neighbourhood of Paphos” and given to the museum in 1910.
