Bracelet

This silver bracelet is decorated with studs of cut steel and has two cabochon amethysts with insets. The studs form a floral design. This type of design was popular in France during the reign of Louis XV (1710 - 1774) and may well have been brought over to England from the continent. Many of the studs are now missing but it is still a beautiful piece of jewellery.
