A Victorian cast of a wax seal of Bishop John Grandisson, Bishop of Exeter between 1327-1369. This is part of a large collection of wax seals built up by Exeter solicitor and historian Winslow Jones. Wax seals were a popular subject for Victorian collectors and they often created plaster copies of wax originals.
