Stirrup-spout bottle

Stirrup-spout vessels such as this piece have been made on the north coast of Peru for over 3000 years. Whilst the stirrup spout is used by other cultures, the small two-step adorno that sits on the corner of the spout and handle is specific to Chimú manufacture.
