Hook

Made from a single piece of bone, likely to be from a human thigh bone, or possibly from a dog. The favoured bait was shrimp. This item was collected by midshipman John Woodward Scott. He sailed with Captain George Vancouver to the Northwest Coast and Southeast Alaska, 1791-5.
