Jug

This striped jug was probably made in the Staffordshire potteries but it is not marked with maker or date. The patterns have been impressed with a die as well as having coloured underglaze applied in stripes. It has been made of stoneware with a salt glazed finish which has created a dimpled effect on the surface.
