Magic Lantern Slide: Interior of St Clement's Church, Bristol

St Clement’s church stood in the St Paul’s area of Bristol, and was destroyed during the Blitz of the Second World War. This lantern slide is a photograph of a postcard image, with a hand written title beneath. The number 1 at the top shows it was made for a lecture, and it is probably associated with two slides in this collection (106/1981/2/3 and 106/1981/2/4). The slide is part of a collection containing Christian messages and images which was donated to the museum in 1981.
