Ethiopian Airlines travel bag

Ethiopian has become one of the largest airline companies in the world. The airline was established in the 1940s as part of Haile Selassies efforts to modernise the country and is now one of the largest airline companies in Africa, making Addis Ababa a busy transport hub.

This plastic bag contained for passengers a pair of slippers and an eye mask. These would have been acquired on one of the donor’s trips to Ethiopia in the 1970s prior to Ethiopian Air Lines changing its brand to Ethiopian Airlines.
