Leaf-shaped arrowhead
This leaf-shaped arrowhead was found at the Neolithic site at Hembury in Devon. Arrowheads were used for hunting and warfare and replaced the microliths that were used in the previous Mesolithic period. This example appears to have been broken while being made or used.
