Above Yeoford
Though he was a regular exhibitor at the Royal Academy in London, Lee was based in North Devon for most of his career. He was also a keen outdoor sportsman and enjoyed yachting, shooting and fishing. His paintings at the 1848 Royal Academy exhibition were admired by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert.
