Derwent Water

‘Derwentwater’ attributed to Arthur Hughes, c.1836. This oil on canvas depicts the lake of Derwentwater in the English Lake District. The lake sits within part of Borrowdale and lies south of Keswick. The lake is known for its several islands. The lake is surrounded by woods and large estate houses.
