Family with their ox-cart
This is a depiction of a traditional cart that is normally pulled by oxen in Burma. The cart is about to take a well-dressed household to a festival. The oxen themselves would have been decorated with gilded ornaments in honour of the occasion. Painted by artist Yoe Yar Maung in 1993.
