Magic Lantern Slide: Liverpool from the River Mersey

This image by William Weaver Baker shows a view of Pier Head on Liverpool Waterfront from the River Mersey. The image shows the three buildings that make up Pier Head: the Royal Liver Building, the Cunard Building and the Port of Liverpool Building. The latest of these to be constructed was the Cunard which was completed in 1915, dating this photograph sometime after this. Weaver Baker predominantly took photographs of objects and buildings in Exeter, but also went further afield to take photos of architecture and other things that interested him.
