Magic Lantern Slide: Advertising slide for Vulcan gas cookers

This slide in the William Weaver Baker collection shows an advert for Vulcan Gas Cooker. Vulcan was an American company whose name first appeared in 1890, and became Vulcan-Hart in 1949. They sold gas cookers when electricity was relatively new and untested. Magic lantern projectionists sometimes used adverts as introductory slides during their shows. However this one does not seem to be tailored to this use. Another slide seems to follow from this one (see 313/1977/145).
