Magic Lantern Slide: Gable end, Plas Newydd, Llangollen
This lantern slide shows another sinister looking image of the Gable end of the Plas Newydd, this has more saturation to it giving it a more tan and grain look. This shot shows more of the buildings along the road, this is part of the Baker collection acquired in 1977 and made in the 19th and 20th century.
William Weaver Baker was a keen local amateur photographer and his collection of lantern slides offer a rare glimpse of Exeter and the surrounding area in the early twentieth century.
