Magic Lantern Slide: Tudor House, Exeter
William Weaver Baker’s photographic image shows the historic Tudor House in Exeter. The building still stands today, and is a rare survival of the wealthy merchant’s homes which once filled Exeter, although most were destroyed during and immediately after the Second World War. Weaver Baker was very interested in historic architecture and photographed historic sites in Exeter and beyond.
