Magic Lantern Slide: Flower Studies - Daffodils

This photographic slide by William Weaver Baker is part of a set of 52 images of flowers. He was a keen amateur photographer and the title of the slide shows he was experimenting with different photographic techniques. The ‘K3 screen’ was deep yellow, and probably used to modify the tones in the black and white negative. The ‘panchromatic plate’ was sensitive to all wavelengths of visible light.
