Faunal bone assemblage
A small assemblage of animal bone and shell collected during a development-led excavation at Marldon, near Torquay. The site revealed important archaeological evidence of Mesolithic and Neolithic activity with some evidence for Iron Age and later periods. Some of the assemblage was collected from Neolithic cremation contexts so may be human rather than faunal.
