Apron

A woman’s waist apron worn over the accompanying blouse and chuba (58 / 2000 / 1 and 2). The main body of the apron is woven from a Tibetan woollen cloth known as pulu in a rainbow-like pattern, which forms wide strips. The corners are reinforced with triangular pieces of golden silk brocade with pink, white and pale blue peony designs.
