Spear
Spears are considered precious items among the pastoral Maasai, however, historically blacksmiths among them were ostracised, even despised. This particular spear is unusual in that the spearhead resembles a type used by Maasai elders, but it is short in length (301mm) lacking the long stem. The iron butt is also short (377mm) and the spear grip is wide 1048mm)
