Cleaning the Fish

Condy was employed by the Earl of Mount Edgcumbe who became his principal patron. He worked with his son, Nicholas Matthews Condy, on marine, landscape and genre subjects mainly for naval officers. Both exhibited little. Condy is said to have died of grief at the early death of his son.
