Hairpin
This hairpin was used by someone living in the Roman town of Isca Dumnoniorum. The amount of hairpins needed for complicated hairstyles resulted in many becoming accidentally lost. The size and sturdy shape of this hairpin suggest it was used for hairstyles pinned close to the head.
