Primrose League medal
The Primrose League was a conservative political movement, founded in 1883. Over the next two decades it became the largest voluntary mass movement in British political history. Medals and medieval titles were part of its appeal but the "gaudy badges," and "ye ancient diplomas" were also subject to mockery. This medal was awarded for special service during the 1900 general election.
