“Thick, felted, off-white barkcloth. One side with red rubbed pigment on the surface, with a 120mm wide reserved with ruled borders running the length of the cloth. Beater mark 5 grooves/cm. Resembles a type of loincloth worn by initiates to the Arioi Society (see Henry: 1928:236).”
